You can expect Jaguar to reveal the prices of all its new models when it showcases the models in the world. You need not have to wait for the sale date to near in order to know the prices of the new models that Jaguar will be bringing hereafter. So, once the new model of Jaguar is shown to the public, the price of the model will also be revealed by the company even if it is months before the model goes on sale.
This special move from Jaguar is to counter the drop in the sales that it is currently experiencing in the United States. This is the second year that Jaguar sees a sales decline in the North American market, which does not augur well for the company in the future. This could be one of the reasons why Jaguar revealed the price of the all new Jaguar F Pace crossovers that it is going to bring into the market in a few months time.
The price of the Jaguar F Pace was revealed on the eve of the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. The F Pace will carry a price of $43,345 for the entry level variant that will go on sale in May next year. This will have a 3.0 liter, V6 engine with 340 HP under hood.
The next version of F Pace with same 3.0 liter V6 engine will start with a price of $57,695. There is also a 2.0 liter diesel version that will be offered in the new F Pace crossover that will come at a base price of $41,895.
The diesel version will be ready for sale in September next year. All the prices that are mentioned above are inclusive of the shipping charges.
CEO of Jaguar Land Rover in North America, Joe Eberhardt, said that the online Configurator is now active for the F Pace after the price was disclosed. There is no doubt that pricing of a car is very important. Also, because Jaguar is coming out with the F Pace crossover SUV for the very first time, it was important that the pricing was also announced in order to make the vehicle get maximum attention during its launch.
Jaguar follows other luxury car makers like Mercedes Ben in announcing the price of a newly launched car just before its launch. The Jaguar F pace crossover would compete with the likes of the BMW X3 and BMW X5 in the market.
