The new 2017 Cadillac luxury sports utility vehicle had a mind-boggling debut in New York yesterday. You might have seen a lot of cars debuted at Auto Expos or in showrooms or at launch functions. But, this debut of the 2017 Cadillac crossover took everyone by surprise. The Cadillac XT5 debuted in the night skies above the New York City during a trendy Fashion show party night that was going on in the Big Apple.
The attendees of the fashion show party had to stop the party and take a look at this attractive and majestic Cadillac XT5 crossover. The car had its headlights on and was seen dangling over the city from a helicopter. The XT5 just made a small pause over the event and then disappeared into the dark over the Hudson River. This was a unique way to debut the new car and Cadillac has to be given due recognition for thinking out of the hat for this unique debut concept.
Cadillac is saying that the all new 2017 XT5 will be a big player in the crossover market in the United States. The car seems to be a refreshed and redesigned version of the SRX brand from Cadillac. If this car lives up to the standard that SRX model has achieved, then there is no doubt that Cadillac has a winner on its hands with the XT5 luxury crossover.
The helicopter stunt and the launch idea was made possible with the new partnership that Cadillac had entered with the fashion house Public School. The private showing over New York City was just to kindle the curiosity among crossover lovers about what the car is ad what it could offer.
Cadillac is all set to go global with the 2017 XT5 crossover model. This car manufacturer with headquarters in the SoHo district in New York City will be unveiling the all new Cadillac XT% at the Dubai Motor Show to be held in November. The XT is a new series of crossovers from Cadillac that will be followed by a number that will indicate the relative size. It is succeeding the present SRX model that is the most popular brand of Cadillac the world over.
The XT5 will go on sale towards the end of this year and will be competing with the likes of German and Japanese luxury crossovers in the global market. The price of the Cadillac XT5 will be let out later.
