2016 Chevrolet Silverado Arrives In Late Fall

The 2016 Chevrolet Silverado pickup is revealed to the public in full during the Texas State fair. The State Fair is a popular event in the Lonestar State and it is filled with music concerts, rodeos, cook offs and of course big hats and big belt buckles. It is also the place to showcase a new truck. This is what Chevy did when it brought the soon to launch 2016 Chevy Silverado to the State Fair. Ford has also used this event to showcase their F Series super duty pickups. The latest updates of the Chevy Silverado are revealed in full at the State fair in Texas.

The new updated Chevy Silverado 2016modle year comes with an aggressive and sturdy looking front fascia. The pickup is getting ready to hit the showrooms this fall and to increase the heat in the popular full size pickup truck segment. It has tough competition in the market with 2016 GMC Sierra and Fiat Chrysler Automobile’s Ram brand hitting the showrooms soon.

This is the first major revamp that General Motors Chevy Silverado will be coming out with since 2013, when they came out with the new 2014 Silverado model. There is expectation that GM will be bringing out fully redesigned trucks by 2019.

The Chevy Silverado has been tested both in the clinical conditions as well as by the potential customers, according to inside sources. The pickup truck is now offered with new safety features that enhances the performance of the vehicle. The features added are: lane keep assist and forward collision alert. The Chevy Silverado pickups also support Google’s Android auto and Apple’s CarPlay.

The first updated glimpse of the vehicle was showcased in July and now Chevy has revealed full details of the pickup truck. The pickup comes in LS, LT, LTZ, WT and high country trim levels. The car comes with new taillights, front grille, hood and headlights, which now integrates easily into the grille. The turn signals and brake lights wrap around the truck corners.

The LT and the LTZ models of Silverado will be offered with chrome bumpers and grille. The engine that you will find under the hood of the 2016 Chevy Silverado LTZ and the LTZ/Z71 will be the 6.2 liter V8 standard engine that is mated to a 5 speed transmission. The High country edition will be coming with a 5.3 liter V89 engine. The pricing of the new Silverado has not been announced yet.
